Originally based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Luby Equipment Services' Oilfield Division is headquartered in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Luby was responsible for introducing down-hole hammer drilling to the Arkoma Basin, which had primarily used air drilling in the past. The adaption of down-hole drilling has helped the company expand - the Oilfield Division now has three locations, including Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Heber Springs, Arkansas; and Buckhannon, West Verginia.

Luby offers JZ and PDC Logic bits and rents hammers, air compressor packages, and long reach forklifts and man lifts to oilfields.
