I had a hydraulic problem on my skid steer and called all my local dealers in the lake Ozark area. They were all weeks out and really acted like they didn’t want to take the job. We called Luby Equipment out of Springfield and they pulled it in the next day to diagnose, and got the ball rolling. Travis at the desk answered all our phone calls and let us know the progress. If my Case machine needs work from here on out, I’ll be taking it to Luby. Customer service was tip top
Response from the owner:Cody, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We’re glad we could get you taken care of on such short notice. We know downtime is money lost, so keeping customers updated and getting machines back to work matters. We’ll make sure Travis and the Springfield team see this.

Dingo® TX 1000 Track Loader, Wide

Why Mini Track Loaders Are Popular for Landscaping

Mini track loaders have become one of the most requested machines for landscaping rentals and contractor use. They are compact, easy to transport, and capable of running a wide range of attachments. Landscapers commonly use mini track loaders for:

  • Moving mulch, soil, and rock
  • Backyard landscaping installs
  • Fence line work
  • Hardscape prep
  • Grading and leveling
  • Pallet fork material handling
  • Auger and trenching attachments

Because of this versatility, many contractors searching for Toro Dingo rental, mini track loader rental, or landscaping equipment rental are really looking for a machine that can handle multiple jobs without stepping up to a full-size skid steer.

CASE TL100 vs Toro Dingo TX1000 for Landscaping

Both the Toro Dingo TX1000 and CASE TL100 fall into the same mini track loader category. They are designed for tight-access landscaping and attachment versatility. However, contractors comparing the two are often focused on productivity, stability, and overall jobsite capability.

The CASE TL100 is built to handle landscaping work like moving bulk material, grading soil, and transporting pallets across residential jobsites. It maintains a compact footprint while still allowing landscapers to take on larger installs.

This makes it especially useful for:

  • Hardscape installs
  • Retaining wall projects
  • Sod prep and grading
  • Bulk material movement
  • Residential landscaping installs
  • Property maintenance work

Instead of being limited to lighter tasks, the TL100 gives landscapers the ability to complete more work with one machine.

Is the CASE TL100 a Good Replacement for a Toro Dingo?

The CASE TL100 compact track loader offers the maneuverability landscapers like in a mini track loader, but with significantly more capability. It is still compact enough for residential work, yet powerful enough for full landscaping installs.

For contractors who typically search for mini track loader for landscaping, the TL100 checks many of the same boxes:

It can move bulk material efficiently, handle pallets of pavers or block, perform grading and site prep, run hydraulic attachments, and operate across soft ground conditions. This makes it a strong fit for landscaping contractors who want one machine that can handle both smaller access jobs and larger installs.

Tracks also provide better flotation and traction, which is important in landscaping applications. The TL100 can work across lawns, soil, and uneven terrain while maintaining stability and control.

Mini Track Loader vs Landscaping Rentals

Many contractors first experience machines like a Toro Dingo through landscaping rentals. Renting a mini track loader makes sense for occasional jobs or tight access work. But contractors who frequently rent mini track loaders often benefit from owning one that can handle a wider range of applications.

The CASE TL100 works well as a machine that can replace repeated mini track loader rentals. It can move material, grade, run attachments, and handle daily landscaping tasks without stepping up to a larger skid steer or compact track loader.

For contractors who want one versatile landscaping machine, this can simplify equipment needs and improve productivity.

Maneuverability for Residential Landscaping

One of the biggest reasons contractors search for a Toro Dingo is maneuverability. Landscaping often involves tight spaces, backyard access, and working around existing structures. Mini stand-on track loaders are ideal for these conditions.

The CASE TL100 keeps that same style of operation. It is compact, easy to control, and designed for residential environments. Landscapers can navigate around fences, driveways, and structures while still maintaining lifting and material handling capability.

This makes it a strong fit for:

  • Backyard landscaping
  • Residential installs
  • Tight access jobs
  • Property maintenance
  • Landscaping contractors
  • Rental fleet use

The Toro Dingo TX1000 is one of the most recognized mini track loaders in landscaping. But the CASE TL100 offers a comparable stand-on track loader option designed for the same types of jobs.

If you are searching for a mini track loader for landscaping or comparing landscaping rental equipment, the CASE TL100 delivers the maneuverability, attachment versatility, and productivity contractors expect from this category. It works as a practical alternative to a Toro Dingo while still fitting the tight-access landscaping applications that make mini track loaders so popular.

  3. Great article! The comparison between the CASE TL100 and the Toro Dingo TX1000 is very insightful. Maneuverability in tight residential spaces is always a top priority for landscaping installs, and it’s great to see the TL100 offering such strong lifting and material handling capabilities without sacrificing that compact footprint. Your point about transitioning from frequent rentals to ownership also makes a lot of sense for growing businesses looking to improve daily productivity. Thanks for sharing this detailed breakdown!
