The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) after-treatment system lowers exhaust temperatures without using extra fuel to burn off particulate matter. There’s no Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to replace, making it ideal for larger, high-productivity engines.

How it works:

• The High-Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) system electronically controls fuel injection for more efficient combustion and better fuel economy.
• Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) blends cooled exhaust gases with fresh air and returns them to the cylinder.
• The Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) oxidizes exhaust to generate heat and manage particulate matter.
• SCR combines Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) with exhaust in the presence of a catalyst to convert NOx emissions into nitrogen and water. DEF is non-toxic and simple to use.

What this means to you:
SCR reduces fuel use and eliminates the need for a DPF, lowering total operating costs over the machine’s life. Maintenance is simple—just refill DEF as needed.
